boiler_suit is a mixed-media installation based on my walks around the city and analog photos taken during these walks. It serves as evidence that the city is constantly chewing on me and what is inside it. I know who is working for it, who is giving shape to the streets, and who is taking mine. Here's the long story, shortened: boiler_suit is an experiment in building a structure between constructed and unconstructed forms.

The deformed fabric, stretched into a rigid yet hollow form, serves both as a structural element and a projection surface. Torn openings punctuate the material, creating a tension between presence and void.

Chewed gums, modeled in Blender (modeled from real-world chewed gums, which serve as a reference for the modeling process), are incorporated into the installation. Seventeen different chewed gums are mapped onto frames on the fabric through projection.
